Violet knows exactly what she wants: self-assured, with pronounced Husky behaviour and remarkably clever. She is happiest when something is going on.

We will only place her in a home that truly suits her. Until then she stays with us. What we cannot give her is the attention she deserves. That is why we are looking for a home for her.

Her character

Whatever Violet sets her mind on, she works out in her own way, by routes you would never have thought of yourself.

She does nothing simply because someone says so: she wants to see the point and is then in with all her heart. Add the exuberance of her age; she sometimes acts before she thinks.

What she likes best is being outdoors: snow, water, digging, car rides, romping with other dogs. Visitors are welcome at any time.

What she already knows

Whether she will one day run off lead is an open question: her recall is not yet reliable enough for us to promise anything.

She has hardly ever had to be on her own: here the pack is always around her. Being left alone will need to be practised calmly in her new home.

The right home

Violet belongs in experienced hands: a clever female who works things out for herself needs people who enjoy that, rather than fight it.

  • Experience with dogs and with Siberian Huskies
  • Children of school age and older are welcome
  • She should not be left unsupervised with small children or small animals: she is boisterous and still a little unthinking
  • With or without a second dog, both work
  • Flat or house: what matters is that everyday life suits her
  • Exercise and mental work in keeping with her age: she is still growing
  • We also place her beyond Switzerland if the home is right
